“Inside out” is a large drawing that measures 22 x 28 inches (including the mat). It is black and white charcoal on gray paper. Prints available for sale upon request.
“Inside out” is a series representing the duality of human beings and their hidden feelings. There are three hidden images on the drawing, one of which can be seen by flipping the drawing upside down. The other two are displayed in the center of the drawing.
When I created the original “Inside out” piece, I liked the concept so much, that I wanted to continue reproducing the same image over and over again in different media, but to be honest, it became a little boring after 4 of them with the same face. I thought of turning it into a series, but I wasn’t sure of how exactly I was going to do it.
On April 4th, during a great conversation with Matt Noveskey (Blue October) I decided that the Inside Out series was going to show different people who have influenced my life and / or who are able to express themselves and show the same duality that inspired me to create the original piece. Needless to say, all of them: people I admire.
Since music has always been a very big part of my life, the first series will be dedicated to musicians. I will start with Blue October and Ryan Star.
